Augsburg completes contract extension with right-wing back Henri Koudossou..

Augsburg announced on its official website on Sunday that the club has extended the contract of its right-wing back Henri Koudossou.

According to Augsburg's official statement, Koudossou has signed on a new short-term one-and-a-half-year deal with the club which will only run until the summer of 2026.

After completing his contract extension procedures, Koudossou, who was interviewed by Augsburg's official website again, said: "It feels great to continue playing for Augsburg. Especially my debut in the Bundesliga, it was a moment I will never forget. Now, I need to continue to give everything to win more first-team games for myself. I am eager to repay the club's trust in me."

About Henri Koudossou

Koudossou, 25, was born on September 3, 1999 in Munich, Germany. He is 1.8 meters tall and primarily plays as a right-wing back. He can also play as a right midfielder or right winger. He has dual nationality of Germany and Togo.

When he was young, Koudossou played for the youth academies of non-league clubs Ismaning and Memmingen. He joined Pullach in 2018 and completed his Pullach first-team debut by coming on as a substitute in September of the same year.

After leaving the club when his contract had expired in the summer of 2020, Koudossou moved to Augsburg as a free agent, but was immediately arranged to play for its reserve team.

From the summer of 2022 to the first half of 2024, Koudossou was loaned-out to Austria Lustenau and ADO Den Haag.

After returning to the club following his loan spell in the summer of 2024, Koudossou officially became one of the undisputed first choice players in Augsburg's first-team.

So far this season, Koudossou has played 17 times for the Bundesliga club in all competitions and assisted once.
