Hidon officially becomes Heretics' League of Legends coach and will lead the team to the 2026 LEC Winter Split.

Spanish esports organization Heretics announced on Tuesday the appointment of Jonas Vlaj (ID: Hidon) as head coach of its League of Legends division. Hidon, chosen by Heretics over several contenders, including Simon Papamakos (ID: Swiffer) and Arvindir Singh, will lead the team in the 2026 LEC Winter Split, which runs from January to March of next year.
Hidon, 24, is from Denmark and has played jungle for several teams, including Hydras and Vipers. He transitioned from a professional player to a coach in 2021 and has served on the coaching staffs of Howling, Guarp, Dusty, Tricked, Ruddy, Excel, GIANTX, and Fnatic.
With the addition of Hidon, the Heretics' current roster is expected to be as follows:
Top lane: Carl Carlsen (ID: Carlsen)
Jungler: Theo Borile (ID: Sheo)
Central: Kamil Odegon (ID: Kamiloo)
Bottom Lane: Victor Lirola Tortosa (ID: Flakked)
Support: Paul Lardin (ID: Stend)
Coach: Jonas Vla (ID: Hidon)
