Well-known "Dota 2" player Saksa has confirmed that he will join the Eastern European team Team Yandex as a substitute to compete in the DreamLeague second-level league.
This is the first time Saksa has played for a new team since playing for Tundra Esports in 2022, marking the return of the TI champion.
Saksa was a key member of Tundra Esports' Dota 2 International Invitational (TI 2022) championship team and fought alongside his teammate 33 for many years. However, after the end of the 2025 season, Tundra Esports reorganized its lineup and Saksa was moved to the substitute list.
Although Saksa took a year off from competition due to personal reasons between 2023 and 2024, he has maintained a very high competitive level in the past few years, including the third place in TI in 2024 and three major tournament championships in 2025. He is considered one of the top position 4 players in the world.
Team Yandex, founded in 2025 and formerly known as Cyber Goose, recently signed former Gaimin Gladiators players Watson and Malady, and is led by former Virtus.pro veteran Solo. The team boasts a youthful and experienced roster, and the addition of Saksa adds significant support and strategic depth.
Team Yandex is currently competing in the first season of the DreamLeague's second-tier league, aiming to advance to the DreamLeague Season 27 Main Event. Saksa's experience and vision are considered key to the team's push for the top spots.
