Ghost has officially left Nigma Galaxy after nine months as a substitute.

The renowned Dota 2 team Nigma Galaxy has announced the end of its nine-month partnership with its core Malaysian player, Ghost.

Since February of this year, Ghost has served as a temporary substitute for the team, replacing star player Miracle- who was sidelined due to health issues. Since Ghost joined, Nigma Galaxy has shown signs of recovery in several tournaments.

Nigma Galaxy successfully qualified for ESL One Bangkok and subsequently secured spots in ESL One Raleigh and DreamLeague Season 26 with different rosters.

With Ghost joining the team, Nigma Galaxy performed brilliantly at The International 2025 (TI 2025), achieving a sixth-place finish and surpassing strong teams such as Team Liquid and Team Spirit, bringing the team much-needed attention and hope.

However, after entering the new season, Nigma Galaxy performed poorly in FISSURE Universe: Episode 6 and FISSURE PLAYGROUND 2, and were eliminated early in both competitions. With a disappointing start to the season, the team eventually announced Ghost's departure, ending his time as a substitute player.

Nigma Galaxy has not yet announced its next core player. Speculation suggests Miracle- may return for the new season, while rumors also suggest the team will bring in a new interim core player. The team is currently actively preparing for the PGL Wallachia Season 6, which begins on November 15th.
