Team Spirit launches its first Dota 2 youth training team to cultivate a new generation of esports talent.

Two-time TI champion Team Spirit has announced the formation of its first Dota 2 youth training team (Team Spirit Academy), officially opening a new chapter in its esports landscape.

The team aims to cultivate the next generation of top Dota 2 players and continue the team's glory on the international stage. Team Spirit stated that launching a Dota 2 youth training team is a natural step, as the team originally started with Dota.

The official statement indicated that the goal of the youth training system is not only to cultivate operational and tactical abilities, but also to emphasize the all-round development of professional attitude, team spirit, and psychological qualities.

The new youth training system provides players with a focused training environment, with coaches and support teams providing individualized guidance and regular competition participation to gain practical experience. The official statement emphasizes that players will learn adaptability and strategy through competition, gradually developing into professional players capable of standing on their own.

The inaugural youth academy squad includes rubikon155, 86, SunshineRR, Aidar, and Kyford. MeTPuM will serve as coach, Paradise as manager, and baki_1014 as analyst.

Team Spirit, who unexpectedly won The International 10 in 2021, has become one of the most iconic teams in Dota 2 history. The official statement indicates their hope that their youth academy will become a cradle for future champions, injecting new vitality into the Dota 2 community.
