Liverpool announced on its official website on Saturday that the club has recalled its Spain U21s international defensive midfielder wonderkid Stefan Bajčetić from Red Bull Salzburg and has loaned him out to Las Palmas.

About Stefan Bajčetić

 

Bajčetić, who is only 20 years old, was born in Vigo, Spain on October 22, 2004. He is 1.85 meters tall, primarily plays as defensive midfielder but can also be deployed as a center-back. His father Srđan is formerly the foreign player of Dalian Shide and Hunan Shoking, who is currently the head coach of Celta Vigo youth academy, and his brother Jovan is also a member of the Celta Vigo reserve team. Like his elder brother, the little Bajčetić also has dual citizenship of Spain and Serbia.

 

Coincidentally, Bajčetić himself joined Celta Vigo youth academy when he was a child because his father was playing for the club in the early years, and was later spotted by Liverpool youth academy director Alex Inglethorpe, and after successfully be persuaded, agreed to join the Reds at the end of December 2020 for €250,000.
