Premier League - Chris Wood scored a hat trick as Nottingham Forest beat Brighton 7-0

In the 23rd round of the 2024-25 Premier League, Nottingham Forest played against Brighton at home. Chris Wood scored a hat-trick to help Nottingham Forest win 7-0.

In the 12th minute of the first half, Morgan Gibbs-White made a cross from the right side of the penalty area. Lewis Dunk tried to block the ball but ended up scoring an own goal, and Nottingham Forest got the first point.

In the 25th minute, Anthony Elanga took a corner kick and White scored with a header, and Nottingham Forest easily won the second point.

In the 89th minute, Taiwo Awoniyi's shot was saved by Brighton goalkeeper Bart Februhen, and Nico Williams made the follow-up shot and scored, giving Nottingham Forest the sixth point.

In the 90+1 minute, Feb Brühen tried to pass the ball to his teammate but was intercepted by Diogo Jota, who took the ball into the penalty area and shot, the ball went into the net smoothly and Nottingham Forest won the 7th point.

At the end of the game, Nottingham Forest beat Brighton 7-0. After the game, Nottingham Forest had 47 points and ranked third in the standings. Brighton had 34 points and ranked 10th.
