Dust2.dk exclusively reported on Tuesday that Astralis' veteran ace AWP-er dev1ce will join 100 Thieves.
According to the report, negotiations between Astralis, 100 Thieves, and dev1ce have entered a very advanced stage. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the transfer could be finalized before the New Year.
If the report is true, this means the end of dev1ce's second stint with Astralis. This transfer will also reunite him with his former long-time teammate gla1ve, who will be joining 100 Thieves as a coach.
Currently, besides dev1ce and gla1ve, 100 Thieves only has one other confirmed player on their roster.
Several weeks ago, the team officially announced the signing of FaZe's ace entry fragger rain, and announced they would field an all-ace roster for the 2026 season.
About dev1ce
Born on September 8, 1995, in Vejle, Denmark, the 30-year-old dev1ce began his professional Counter Strike esports career as a AWP-er in 2009.
dev1ce first joined Astralis in 2016, winning almost every major Major tournament between that year and December 2019.
From April 2021 to October of the following year, dev1ce played for Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP), but his performances were not particularly successful.
In October 2022, dev1ce returned to Astralis.
Since returning to the American powerhouse, dev1ce has played a crucial role in leading the team to the PGL Astana and FISSURE Playground 1 finals, helping them qualify for a Major tournament for the first time in three years. However, Astralis were eliminated in the second stage of the StarLadder Budapest Major.
