Jordan James admitted that the result of this game was indeed hard to accept.

Jordan James believes Leicester City's failure to extend their early lead led to a 1-2 defeat to Watford at the King Power Stadium on Boxing Day. The loaned midfielder scored just seven minutes into the game, but the opposition eventually completed a comeback to take all three points.

After the game, Jordan James said, "This loss is really hard to accept. We should have been very relaxed when we were up 1-0 at halftime, and I think the team controlled the game. But obviously, a mistake before halftime slightly weakened our momentum."

“For me, this game was like two completely different halves. I think we played well in the first half, and if we had scored the second goal, the result might have been different, but we failed to do so and were therefore punished.”

"This was our mistake. We are mature and resilient enough that we should have understood the rhythm of the game, energized everyone, and persevered for longer – that's how the Premier League should play. It's difficult to break through a tight defense. If they're in the lead, it's even harder. We were focused on scoring but made mistakes because of impatience. I think that's the situation at the time. We shouldn't have gotten into that situation. The second half was indeed very difficult."

Jordan James scored early in the game, his sixth for the club. While continuing his good scoring form was encouraging, the team's failure to secure three points was disappointing. However, Leicester City still have a chance to redeem themselves in their next match against Derby County at the King Power Stadium.

He continued, "I love scoring goals and I love contributing goals for this club. Wearing this jersey means a lot to me. The fans have given me a lot of support, so I just want to repay them with my best performance, but losing is really frustrating. Football is a team sport, and we lost, so I'm very unhappy."

“We have more matches coming up, so time is tight, but we will be fully prepared. We are aware of the result of our last match against Derby County and hope to achieve a similar performance this time. Tomorrow we will go to the training ground for recovery training to prepare for the match.”
