The Honor of Kings [Sun Wukong - Wuxiang] skin will be released on January 1, 2026.

On January 1, 2026, Honor of Kings will release a brand new skin for Sun Wukong – "Wuxiang". This skin is based on the story of Sun Wukong after his successful journey to the West, blending his cultivated composure with the inherent arrogance of a stone monkey, perfectly showcasing his dual nature of compassion and anger. The skin's design concept is "compassionate face and fierce gaze in one body," using gorgeous attire, exquisite patterns, and agile movements to allow players to experience Sun Wukong's unique charm in the game – both sacred and dignified, yet full of fighting power.  

Sun Wukong, a legendary figure, has always been beloved by players. This "Formless" skin focuses on his story after successfully escorting Tang Sanzang on his journey to the West, showcasing his return to the mortal realm at the request of all beings, where he exorcises demons and suppresses evil spirits. The design team blends his compassionate Buddhist heart with the unruly nature of a monkey demon, presenting a dual temperament of "tranquil yet majestic, compassionate yet angry" through flowing and dynamic clothing and a strong contrast between gold and black and red, allowing players to truly experience the rich layers of Sun Wukong's personality.  

This skin combines the solemnity of Buddhist robes with the agility of a demon's form in its costume design. The overall color scheme is predominantly off-white and gilded, accented with pale purple, silver, and pink. The hairstyle is clean, flowing, and retains the white mane characteristic of the monkey demon at the temples. The angry-looking crown and halo on the head signify his status. As for the weapon, Sun Wukong's Ruyi Jingu Bang (Golden Cudgel) is inspired by the lotus flower and can manifest in various forms, echoing the "thousand forms" concept and enhancing the visual impact.  

The skill effects are centered around a dual-faceted form, combined with enhanced basic attacks to achieve form switching. Basic attacks have a golden petal trail, while enhanced basic attacks summon lotus outlines or vajra/axe for attack. The first skill uses a golden lotus for defense and blooms, the second skill allows for rapid movement leaving a afterimage, and the third skill allows switching between compassionate and wrathful forms, showcasing a gorgeous and strategic combat effect. The somersault cloud recall effect incorporates monkey guards and Buddha light effects, further enhancing the skin's refinement and immersive experience.  

The skin animation showcases Sun Wukong's shift between compassion and wrath. In idle state, he sits serenely on a lotus throne, watching over all living beings; when encountering demons, he displays his Vajra wrath, subduing evil and vanquishing wickedness. The background scene uses the Western Paradise's Buddhist light and a high-hanging lotus throne, dynamically presenting the process of sublimation "from stillness to movement," creating a grand and dynamic visual effect that evokes a sacred, solemn, and awe-inspiring atmosphere.  

The skin's music blends the guzheng, suona, and electronic beats to showcase Sun Wukong's dual style of compassion and wrath. Sound effects incorporate elements such as the rotation of Buddha's light, the opening and closing of lotus flowers, and the explosion of karmic fire, enhancing the immersive experience of skills and scenes. Simultaneously, the skin is equipped with rich visual effects such as a shimmering poster, advancement inscriptions, and attack animations, allowing players to experience the unique charm of "a thousand forms, manifesting at will" while controlling or appreciating the skin.
