Tottenham Hotspur's Israel international winger joins Fiorentina on-loan..

Fiorentina announced on their official website on Sunday that Tottenham Hotspur's Israel international winger Manor Solomon has joined the club on-loan.

According to the Serie A club's official statement, Solomon will play for the club on-loan until the end of the season, with an option to buy. He will also wear the number 19 jersey.

About Manor Solomon

The 26-year-old Manor Solomon was born on July 24, 1999, in Kfar Saba, Israel. He is 1.7 meters tall and primarily plays as an attacking midfielder but can also play as a winger. He holds dual Israeli and Portuguese citizenship and has a brief stint in the Israeli Navy.

Solomon initially played for the youth academy of his hometown club Hapoel Kfar Saba before joining Maccabi Petah Tikva's youth academy during his school years and completed his Maccabi Petah Tikva first-team debut by coming on as a substitute in an Israeli Premier League match in November 2016.

Debuting with exceptional talent, he was named one of UEFA's 50 Future Stars of European Football in 2018.

In January 2019, Solomon joined Shakhtar Donetsk for €6 million.

During his four-year spell at Shakhtar, Solomon won three Ukrainian Premier League titles, one Ukrainian Cup, and one Ukrainian Super Cup with the club, as well as breaking the Champions League record to become the youngest Israeli player in Champions League history.

Due to the impact of the Russia-Ukraine war, Solomon joined Fulham on-loan in the summer of July 2022.

After his contract with Shakhtar Donetsk was terminated the following summer, Solomon joined Tottenham Hotspur on a free transfer.

Despite an excellent first year at Spurs, perhaps due to the negative impact of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Solomon was barred from playing for the Premier League giants from 2024 onwards.

In August 2024, Solomon was loaned-out to Leeds United. During his time there, he won the EFL Championship title and had his most prolific scoring year of his career.

Last summer, on the summer transfer window deadline day Solomon was loaned-out to Villarreal, but he rarely got playing time, leading Spurs to recall him early.

In the first half of the season, Solomon made only 11 appearances for the La Liga side in all competitions, scoring one goal.
