Sheep Esport exclusively reported on Sunday that Spanish League of Legends powerhouse MOVISTAR KOI will extend the contract of its jungler, Elyoya.
According to the report, reporters was hinted at by club management last month that Elyoya might receive a contract extension, and now MOVISTAR KOI has confirmed this plan.
It is understood that Elyoya has already verbally agreed to extend his contract with MOVISTAR KOI, with only some personal terms remaining to be finalized.
If the deal goes through, Elyoya is expected to sign a one-year contract with the team, which runs through 2027, with an optional clause to extend for a further year, which will automatically trigger upon meeting certain criteria.
He will then become the second roster member to extend a contract with MOVISTAR KOI, following head coach Melzhet.
This extension clearly demonstrates MOVISTAR KOI's determination to consider Elyoya a core player on the team.
Since joining the team 18 months ago, he has demonstrated his formidable abilities, even leading his team to the 2025 LEC Spring Split title last year.
Even before that, when he joined MAD LIONS in 2021, Elyoya had already begun showcasing his immense talent.
During his three years there (2021-2023), Elyoya's outstanding performances earned him three LEC All-Pro 1st Team selections and two 3rd Team selections, and he was named the 2021 LEC Spring Rookie of the Split, becoming one of the hottest rising stars in League of Legends in Europe.
MOVISTAR KOI's current roster is as follows:
Myrwyn (Top)
Elyoya (Jungler)
Jojopyun (Mid)
Alvaro (Support)
Supa (Bot / ADC)
Melzhet (Head Coach)
Hansen (Assistant Coach)
