◤Supercopa de España◢ Raphinha scored twice as Barcelona cruised to a 5-0 victory over Athletic Bilbao..

Barcelona cruised to a 5-0 victory over Athletic Bilbao in the 2025/26 Supercopa de España semi-final match at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium on Wednesday.

In the first half, Torres opened the scoring with a close-range finish, followed by goals from López, Bardghji, and Raphinha, while Sancet's shot hit the post. In the second half, Raphinha added another goal. Ultimately, Barcelona cruised to a 5-0 win over Athletic Bilbao, easily advancing to the final.

First Half

In the 9th minute, Robert Navarro passed the ball back from the byline at the left side of the box. Oihan Sancet quickly followed up, got the ball and adjusted his angle before volleying with his right foot from the left side of the box, but his shot was saved by Joan García.

7 minutes later, Roony Bardghji passed the ball back from the byline at the right side of the box. Pedri quickly followed up and upon receiving the pass, volleyed with his right foot from the center of the box, but his shot was saved by Unai Simón.

In the 22nd minute, Bardghji passes horizontally from the right side of the box. Fermín López quickly followed up and upon receiving the pass, volleyed the ball with his right foot from the center of the box with his right foot. His ball went wide and moved towards the left. Upon picking up the loose ball, Ferran Torres strucked the ball into the lower center of the net from a very close distance in the box with his right foot, giving Barcelona a 1-0 lead! This was the Spanish international forward's 14th goal in all competitions of the season, and his third against Lehoiak!

8 minutes later, Raphinha cuts the ball back from the left side of the box. Fermín López quickly followed up and upon receiving the pass, volleyed the ball into the top right corner of the net with his right foot from the center of the box, extending Barcelona's lead to 2-0!

In the 34th minute, López made a straight pass down the right flank. Roony Bardghji quickly followed up, got the ball an cuts into the right side of the quickly box before volleying with his right foot. Simón got a touch on the ball, but his shot still rolled into the lower center of the net, Barcelona extended its lead again to 3-0!

4 minutes later, Bardghji delivered a long diagonal pass from the midfield center circle, After beating the offside trap, Raphinha quickly followed up, got the ball and dribbled into the left side of the box before volleying the ball into the upper top of the net, which left Simón. Barça thrashed Athletic Bilbao 4-0 in just 16 minutes!

In the 41st minute, Bardghji crossed into the box from the right wing. Dani Vivian's header nearly resulted in an own goal, but lucikily Simón managed to make a timely save to avert disaster!

One minute later, Alex Berenguer crossed into the box from the right wing. Sancet quickly followed up and upon receiving the pass, volleyed the ball with his right foot from the center of the box, but his shot unfortunately struck the bottom left corner of the post and bounced off. Athletic Bilbao missed a golden opportunity to pull one back!

At halftime, Barcelona were already leading Athletic Bilbao by 4-0.

Second Half

Both teams switched sides as the match continued. In the 51st minute, López passes horizontally from the byline at the left side of the box. The ball was blocked and cleared off not far away by Aitor Paredes. Raphinha quickly  followed up and upon picking up the loose ball, volleyed the ball into the bottom left corner of the net from the right side of the box with his left foot, scoring his second goal of the match. Barcelona 5-0 Athletic Bilbao! This was the Barcelona captain's 9th goal of the season!

Since then, both sides had several more shooting opportunities, but all were easily cleared.

When the final whistle is blown, Barcelona easily defeated Athletic Bilbao by 5-0.
