Brentford officially announce the signing of Club Brugge's Belgium U21s international striker wonderkid Kaye Furo..

Brentford announced on their official website on Monday that the club have signed Belgium U21s international striker wonderkid Kaye Furo from Club Brugge.

According to the Premier League club's official statement, Furo has signed on a long-term five-and-a-half-year deal which runs until the summer of 2031.

Furthermore, according to The Athletic's resident renowned English transfer journalist David Ornstein, the Bees paid Club Brugge a transfer fee of £8 million to sign Furo.

After completing his transfer procedures, Furo, who was interviewed by the Brentford official website for the first time, said: "I am very excited and honoured to be here. Joining a club like Brentford is a dream come true for me."

"Brentford is my ideal choice because from the moment I stepped into the club, from the moment I first met everyone, I felt the strong atmosphere. I immediately felt that this is a family-like club, and the energy here is genuine, not fake or artificial."

"I truly feel that this is where I have grown into a great striker. This is my ideal place, a place where I can one day become one of the best strikers. That's my main goal."

"Every day I come to training, I bury myself in it until I achieve my goal. I can't wait to work here and become a better version of myself. I really can't wait to start playing and be a part of the club."
