Real Madrid coach Ancelotti praised his players' performance

Real Madrid beat Leganes 3-2 to advance to the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey, with coach Carlo Ancelotti praising his players' performance.

In the post-match press conference, Ancelotti analyzed the match and praised the players, saying: "It was a close and competitive game. I thought we started well and took the lead."

"The team played very well and efficiently on the offensive end. Defensively, we had some difficulties, but that's normal. Jacob struggled a little in the first half. He was a little nervous at the beginning, but then his passing became more effective."

Real Madrid led in the first half of the game. Although Leganes equalized the score in the second half, Gonzalo scored in the final stoppage time to help Real Madrid win.

Regarding Gonzalo's winning goal, Ancelotti said: "This goal came at the right time, in the last minute. If it went into overtime, our recovery would be more difficult. The team is in good shape and we rotated some players to let them rest and prepare for Saturday's game."
