Brazil international winger Willian returned to Fulham on a free transfer after 6-months..


Fulham announced on its official website on Thursday that Brazil international winger Willian has returned to the club as a free agent after terminating his contract with Olympiacos.


According to Fulham's official statement, Willian has signed on a short-term contract with the club which will only run until the end of this season. At the same time, he will also wear the No. 22 jersey.


After completing his joining procedures, Willian, who was interviewed by Fulham's official website again, said: "I am really happy to be back here. I think this is the best time to come back and play for this great club again. I am fully motivated to get on the pitch again and do something good for this club."

About Willian


Willian, 36, was born on August 9, 1988 in Ribeirao Pires, Brazil. He is 1.74 meters tall and primarily plays as a left winger. He can also play as a right winger and attacking midfielder.


Willian joined the Corinthians youth academy at the age of 10, and completed his Corinthians first-team debut by coming on as a substitute in November 2006.


In August of the following year, Willian joined Shakhtar Donetsk for €14 million.


During his five-and-a-half-year spell with Shakhtar Donetsk, Willian won the Ukrainian Premier League 4 times, the Ukrainian Cup 3 times, the Ukrainian Super Cup 2 times and the UEFA Cup 1 time with the club.


On the 2013 winter transfer window deadline day, Willian joined Anzhi Makhachkala for 35 million, but was forced to leave the team due to the club's financial problems.
