SAW Official Announcement: Jayy2s, former commander of CALAOSCORNOS, has officially joined the team.

Portuguese CS2 pro team SAW confirmed on Wednesday that former CALAOSCORNOS player Gonzalo Machado (ID: Jayy2s) is about to join the team. He will replace Daniel Esteves (ID: tuxa) as the team's in-game leader, allowing tuxa to focus on the sniper role.

Jayy2s, 22, previously played for CS teams such as GTZ and Rhyno before officially joining CALAOSCORNOS in November 2025. To date, he has played on 6 maps and participated in 114 rounds for CALAOSCORNOS, with an average personal rating of 1.67.

With the arrival of Jayy2s, SAW's roster restructuring plan is officially complete: in early January of this year, SAW put all its original players up for sale. Andre Gil (ID: Ag1l) and João Vieira (ID: story) have now moved to 100 Thieves and FlyQuest respectively, while Christopher Fernandez (ID: MUTiRiS), Adones Nobre (ID: krazy) and Antonio Barbosa (ID: aragornN) have been recruited by BC.Game.

Shortly thereafter, SAW launched a brand-new CS2 roster. They acquired four local players from the EXSAD team in one fell swoop, aiming to promote the development of esports talent in Portugal.

Regarding Jayy2s's signing, SAW CEO Bruno Marinero stated, "We have selected J to complete our roster and serve as the team's in-game leader. He has already joined the SAW training camp and has been training with us for the past few days. Since he is not affiliated with any club or organization, his signing is a foregone conclusion. Now, we only need to complete the necessary formalities to officially announce it. From a competitive standpoint, J's signing is confirmed."

"The other four players had long admired him and even considered him as a potential teammate before joining SAW. It was reasonable to have one of the team members take on the role of in-game leader, and it was only natural for tuxa to step down from that position."
