Chicago Bulls guard Josh Giddy sprained his right ankle in the fourth quarter of their game against the Indiana Pacers and was forced to leave the court. Josh Giddy scored a season-high 29 points before he sprained his ankle.
Josh Giddy suffered the same injury while representing Australia at the Olympics last summer. Chicago Bulls coach Billy Donovan said after the Bulls' 121-103 win over the Indiana Pacers that Giddy has a sprained ankle, but the team may not know the severity of the injury for a day or two.
Josh Giddy, who was traded from Oklahoma City in June after being injured in the Olympics and was healthy in time to be ready for the Chicago Bulls' start, had a season-high 29 points and 10 rebounds.
In the fourth quarter of the game, Josh Giddy appeared to be stepped on by a player of the Indiana Pacers. Josh Giddy felt obvious pain when he left the court and walked into the locker room. Billy Donovan said: "Josh Giddy had a little sprain a few games ago, but it was not serious. But in this game you can see that he was in pain when he played. Therefore, I am very worried about him, but I don't know the severity of his injury yet."
The Chicago Bulls currently hold the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, and this victory over the Indiana Pacers was the team's third consecutive victory.
