Ange Postecoglu: This is a disappointing result

Tottenham Hotspur were eliminated from the FA Cup after losing 2-1 to Aston Villa, and manager Angel Postecoglou was disappointed with the result.

Aston Villa led by one goal in each half. Although Matthijs Tottenham scored a goal in the final stoppage time, it was too late to save the situation and Aston Villa eventually won the game.

Tottenham Hotspur not only lost in the FA Cup, but also lost to Liverpool in the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup and missed the Carabao Cup final. Postecoglou did not blame the players for this, but admired their efforts.
