Liverpool captain Van Dijk hopes his teammates can recover from the defeat and face the next challenge

In the second leg of the Champions League round of 16, Liverpool lost 0-1 to Paris Saint-Germain, with the aggregate score of the two legs being 1-1. In the end, Liverpool lost 1-4 in the penalty shootout and failed to advance to the quarterfinals.

In the 12th minute of the game, Ousmane Dembele scored a goal to help PSG get a point. As neither side was able to change the score again within 120 minutes, the game went to a penalty shootout. PSG scored all four of their penalties, but Liverpool were not as good as expected, with two goals saved, leading to the team's regretful elimination.
