League of Legends: G2 completes contract extension with jungler SkewMond..

German League of Legends club G2 announced on Thursday via their official X(Twitter) account that they have renewed the contract of their jungler, SkewMond.

According to G2's official statement, SkewMond, whose original contract will be expiring in November 2026, has signed a new two-year contract with the club, extending his stay until 2028.

About SkewMond

The 21-year-old SkewMond was born on August 9, 2004, in France. He became a professional League of Legends esports player in 2021, playing as a jungler, and holds dual French and Lebanese citizenship.

SkewMond previously played for Enclave, ZennIT, ViV, AEGIS, and the BDS academy team, achieving considerable success.

In December 2024, SkewMond joined G2 to replace Yike.

Despite it seemed difficult, SkewMond has delivered a remarkably strong performance, contrary to expectations.

After a more convincing performance in the Spring Split, SkewMond participated in two international tournaments for the first time: the Mid-Season Invitational and the Esports World Cup.

After facing off against top players worldwide, he returned to the LEC with a revitalized image, leading G2 back to the top.

His performance in the playoffs was particularly outstanding, earning MVP honours in all three series and helping G2 win the Summer Split championship, his first top-tier tournament title.

Shortly after, SkewMond participated in his first World Championship.

Although G2 made it to the playoffs again after three years, SkewMond's exceptional performances left a more lasting impression.
