LCK Regular Season Week 2 Resumes: T1 vs. Gen.G in a Showdown

The second week of the 2026 League of Legends Korea Championship (LCK) regular season will officially kick off from April 8th to 12th at LoL Park in Seoul.

The biggest highlight of this week is undoubtedly the epic showdown between T1 and Gen.G on the first day of competition. As the 2025 World Championship winners, T1 will face off against Gen.G, who have won both the 2025 LCK title and the 2026 LCK Cup.

Both teams suffered unexpected defeats to KT Rolster in the first week, but each subsequently rallied to win 2-0, bringing their current record to 1 win and 1 loss. This is not only their first encounter in 2026, but also a crucial battle for both championship teams to regroup and vie for the top spot. Their last meeting was in the 2025 LCK playoffs, where Gen.G narrowly won 3-2.

The red-hot KT Rolster will face off against Nongshim RedForce (NS). Both teams are undefeated in the first week, with NS stunning everyone with two clean 2-0 victories, while KT has consecutively defeated two formidable opponents, T1 and Gen.G. This match will perfectly showcase the clash between veteran experience and the talent of the new generation.

In addition, the match between Dplus KIA (DK) and Gen.G on April 11th is also highly anticipated. DK is currently on a suffocating 21-game losing streak against Gen.G. This will be a severe test for DK, who are aiming to climb the rankings. Despite a significant disadvantage in their historical head-to-head record, DK's morale is high after a 2-0 sweep of DRX in the first week.
