Imperial Esports, a renowned Brazilian esports club, has announced the establishment of a European Counter-Strike 2 youth team, officially opening a new chapter in its international expansion.
Imperial Esports stated that the formation of a European youth training team is an important step in the organization's global strategy, aiming to provide a stage for young players and cultivate the next generation of Counter-Strike 2 players with the potential to gain a foothold on the international stage.
The inaugural youth training roster consists of five young players from various countries: Danish players sh1Fu and Kragh, Ukrainian players ta9zqq and oNESTLY, and 20-year-old Russian rifler Aliot. This roster, comprised of rising talent from across Europe, showcases both diversity and potential.
Imperial Esports emphasizes that the establishment of an academy is not just about building a team, but an investment in the future of esports. By blending the club's culture with the talent of rising European stars, they hope to create an environment where players can grow, develop discipline, and ultimately become champions.
Imperial Esports currently has three Counter-Strike 2 rosters: the main team, the women's team, and the newly established academy team. The main team consistently competes in top-tier international tournaments, while the women's team provides more opportunities for female esports players.
With the addition of the youth training system, Imperial Esports' overall structure has become more complete, and it also demonstrates its ambition on the global e-sports stage.
In 2025, Imperial Esports has made several appearances in secondary tournaments and successfully won the Circuito FERJEE 2025, defeating South American rivals Legacy 2-0.
However, the team is ranked 43rd in the Valve Regional Rankings (VRS), just one step away from the top 32 threshold, which will qualify for the StarLadder Budapest Major in November.
