Premier League – Dzekeresh scores penalty, Arsenal lose 1-2 to Bournemouth


The 32nd round of the 2025/26 Premier League season continued. Arsenal, playing at home at the Emirates Stadium, came back from a goal down to win thanks to a penalty from Dzekeresh, but then suffered another blow in the second half, ultimately losing 1-2 to Bournemouth.

However, the referee ruled that Dzekeresh was offside, and the goal was disallowed. In the 68th minute, Rice received a pass from Trossard outside the penalty area and took a long-range shot, but the ball was saved by Bournemouth goalkeeper Petrovic.


In the 74th minute, Evanilson received the ball and passed it across the goal, where Alex Scott pounced and slotted it home, putting Bournemouth back in front 2-1 against Arsenal. In the 79th minute, Arsenal created an attacking opportunity. Max Doman's pass was cleared, and Dzekeresh received the ball but his chip shot went high.


In the 87th minute, Eze passed the ball across the box, and Rice received it outside the penalty area before taking a long-range shot, but the ball was blocked by an opposing player. In stoppage time of the second half, Rice delivered a cross, and Dzekeresh headed the ball towards goal, but it went wide.


Arsenal ultimately lost 1-2 to Bournemouth at home.
