Counter Strike 2: Head coach JamezIRL officially parted ways with Wildcard..

Dust2 exclusively reported on Friday that Wildcard's head coach, JamezIRL, has officially parted ways with the team.

According to the report, JamezIRL himself revealed this to the online media outlet. He did not disclose the real reason for his decision to leave Wildcard, only briefly stating that "things weren't going well," and that he hadn't worked with the team for some time and hoped to join a new project soon.

Insider sources revealed that there were some significant differences in philosophy between the two sides.

With JamezIRL's departure, Wildcard will appoint assistant coach splawik as head coach. However, whether this arrangement is long-term remains to be seen.

JamezIRL had previously missed three consecutive Wildcard's LAN tournaments.

Wildcard was the first team JamezIRL had head coached.

His previous coaching experience was as an assistant coach at Complexity from July 2023 to December 2024.

After a year-long hiatus, he was announced as Wildcard's new head coach in late November, marking the first step in the American Counter Strike 2 (CS2) team's rebuilding plan.

During his brief tenure, JamezIRL only participated in one LAN tournament, the FRAG Miami 2 which was held earlier this year with the team, while also assisting with some online events.

Wildcard's current roster is:

Rifler: Peeping

Rifler: reck

AWP-er: mhL

Entry Fragger: HexT

Rifler / In-Game Leader: nEMANHA

Assistant Coach: splawik
