FA Cup – Enzo's header seals Chelsea's 1-0 victory over Leeds United and a place in the final.

In the 2025/26 FA Cup semi-final, Chelsea defeated Leeds United 1-0 thanks to a goal from Enzo Fernandes. They will face Manchester City in the FA Cup final to compete for the title.

Both teams traded attacks in the opening stages, with Chelsea's advantage not being obvious. In the 4th minute, Leeds United won a free kick on the left side of the attacking third, but Tanaka's direct shot went over the crossbar. In the 6th minute, João Pedro headed the ball down, and Enzo's sudden shot was caught by Lucas Perry. In the 15th minute, Dominique Calvert-Lewin's through ball created a one-on-one opportunity for Brundon Allensen, whose shot was saved by Robert Sanchez. In the 21st minute, Enzo delivered a lobbed pass from the edge of the box, and Pedro's follow-up shot hit the left post.

In the 23rd minute, Chelsea finally broke the deadlock: Pedro Neto delivered a long cross from the right side of the penalty area, and Enzo headed the ball into the bottom left corner of the goal. In the 30th minute, Romeo Lavia intercepted the ball from Tanaka Ao and provided an assist, but Pedro chested the ball down and turned to volley the ball, which failed to find the net.

The second half began with both sides switching ends. In the 46th minute, Joe Rodon, facing a double team in the penalty area, chose to pass back, and Anton Stach's long-range shot was brilliantly saved by Sanchez. In the 58th minute, Noah Okafor delivered a diagonal pass from the left flank, and Calvert-Lewin's header in the penalty area was again comfortably caught by Sanchez. In the 62nd minute, Leeds United won a free kick on the right side of the attacking third, and Stach's direct shot went just wide.

Neither side managed to score again. At the final whistle, Chelsea eliminated Leeds United by a single goal.
