McFarlane: Breaking the losing streak with a victory, determined to win the remaining games for the fans.

After leading Chelsea to victory over Leeds United and a place in the FA Cup final this season, interim manager Callum McFarlane gave an interview.

More than securing a ticket to the Wembley finals, McFarlane values the team's morale-building impact of this victory. He emphasizes that it's not just a bounce-back, but a crucial restart for the season's final push.

In a post-match interview, McFarlane stated frankly: "I'm not sure if it's just because of the allure of the FA Cup final. I think the most important thing is to break our previous losing streak and slump."

With the FA Cup final (against Manchester City on May 16) secured, Chelsea have five crucial matches remaining this season, including four Premier League games against Nottingham Forest, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, and Sunderland.

After the match, McFarlane set the tone for the rest of the team: "We are at Chelsea Football Club, which means we need to strive to win every game. Turning the tide in the team has always been our goal, and winning every game is our only objective from now until the end of the season."

When discussing their mindset for the upcoming matches, McFarlane displayed unwavering determination. He stated that the team doesn't need to seek extra motivation just because they've reached the finals, as fighting for the team badge on their chests and for the fans in the stands is their natural duty.

“We want to win every game for the fans in every competition. Although things haven’t gone as planned this year, the FA Cup is a great benchmark with a rich history. We will give our all for ourselves, for the fans, and for the club, not only to win this trophy, but also to win every remaining league game,” McFarlane added.
