Aaron Gordon's calf strain and subsequent absence further impacts the Denver Nuggets' roster.

April 24 - According to NBA reports, Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon will miss Game 3 of the first round of the playoffs against the Minnesota Timberwolves due to a left calf muscle strain.

The Nuggets initially listed Gordon as " questionable ," then downgraded him to " probably out, " and finally confirmed his unavailability before the game. Spencer Jones replaced him in the starting lineup; the young player had only played a combined 19 minutes in the first two games .

" It's certainly frustrating, but the situation is clear. He can't play, and we must focus on the existing squad to fight for victory, " said head coach David Adelman.

Gordon scored 17 points in Game 1 of the series , but struggled after scoring only 8 points in Game 2 , a game the Minnesota Timberwolves won to tie the series.
