Hoffenheim have extended Kramaric's contract, with the new deal expected to run until 2028.

Hoffenheim officially announced on Saturday that they have extended Andre Kramaric's contract, which was originally scheduled to expire this summer, effective immediately. According to Sky Sports Germany, the two sides expect the contract to be extended until June 30, 2028.

However, the report by Sky Sports Germany has not been officially confirmed. As is customary, neither Hoffenheim nor Kramaric has disclosed the specific contract length or other details.

The 34-year-old Kramaric came through the youth academy of Dinamo Zagreb and made his first-team debut in the Croatian First Division on May 25, 2009. He then played for Lokomotiv Zagreb, Rijeka, and Leicester City before joining Hoffenheim on a loan-to-buy deal in early 2016.

To this day, Kramaric has become a mainstay of Hoffenheim's attack. He has made 359 appearances for Hoffenheim, scoring 158 goals and providing 73 assists.

During his time at Hoffenheim, Kramaric represented Croatia in three European Championships (2016, 2021, 2024) and two World Cups (2018, 2022). He has made 114 appearances for Croatia, contributing 36 goals and 11 assists, and helped the country finish as runners-up and third-placed in the two World Cups.

Regarding the contract extension, Hoffenheim's general manager, Andreas Schickel, commented: "Andrea is one of the club's most prominent figures, having left a deep impression on Hoffenheim over the past decade. Since joining more than ten years ago, he has been a key pillar and absolute leader in our competitive performance. He is an outstanding player with exceptional ability, as well as an ambitious and responsible professional role model both on and off the field."

“We are delighted that Andre will remain in the squad,” Hikel added. “In today’s football world, it is rare to find a player like Andre who maintains such a strong sense of identity with the club. He has become a legend at the club. We are pleased to continue to rely on his qualities and international experience in the future.”

Kramaric said: "I am very honored to continue wearing the Hoffenheim jersey. Everyone knows what this club means to me. I feel right at home here, and the club and this area have long been my second home. I am happy that this special bond can continue."

Hoffenheim currently sits sixth in the Bundesliga with a record of 17 wins, 7 draws, and 8 losses, accumulating 58 points and a chance to qualify for next season's Champions League. Kramaric is excited about this: "I feel I'm in great form, and I especially hope to represent Hoffenheim in European competition again. Under the leadership of Andreas Schickel and Chris Ilzer, our whole team has embarked on an ambitious journey that is far from over. We have high hopes for this team, and I will do my utmost to help them achieve their goals."
