In a recent interview with Apple Music, Argentine star and World Cup winner Messi spoke candidly about why he left Paris Saint-Germain and joined Miami International of the Major League Soccer (MLS). He said that his two years in Paris were not pleasant and he was unhappy every day.

In 2021, due to financial problems, Messi was forced to leave Barcelona after his contract expired and moved to Paris Saint-Germain. There he fought alongside Mbappe and Neymar, played under Pochettino and Galtier, and helped the team win the French Ligue 1 championship for two consecutive years. However, even with his success at the competitive level, Messi still found it difficult to integrate into the new environment and had no interest in training and games.
