Karmine Corp wins LEC Winter 2025

On March 2, the eyes of the entire European League of Legends region were focused on Berlin, where the LEC Winter 2025 finals were held at Riot Games Arena. Two top teams met on a narrow road: G2 Esports, which has won numerous European championships and has rich experience in international competitions, and Karmine Corp, a French team that is in hot form this season and is known as a "rising star".

This year's LEC Winter Season 2025 is particularly special. The champion will directly qualify for the new international event First Stand 2025, which will undoubtedly make the competition throughout the season more intense.

G2 Esports and Karmine Corp have been playing at the top level all season. Both teams finished at the top of the group stage and easily defeated their opponents in the early rounds of the playoffs. This final was their third meeting of the season:

  • Group stage: Karmine Corp defeated G2 Esports in a BO1 format;

  • Upper bracket final: G2 Esports took revenge with 3-1 and advanced to the final first;

  • Finals: Karmine Corp swept G2 3-0 and won the first LEC championship trophy in team history.

The entire LEC Winter Split 2025 attracted a large French audience, with Karmine Corp's victory night being watched by 320,456 French fans, making it the most watched LEC event in France in history.

Although LEC Winter Season 2025 ranks seventh in the LEC's historical total viewing ranking, it is second only to LCK Cup 2025 in this season's global regional leagues. The latter created a peak viewing of 1,907,634 people in the finals, demonstrating LCK's dominant influence internationally.

After the LEC Winter Season 2025 comes to an end, Karmine Corp will soon compete in First Stand 2025, a new international event that will be held in Seoul, South Korea from March 10th to 16th.
