Enzo Maresca says this victory is very important for the team

Chelsea faced Copenhagen in the first leg of the English Football Association League round of 16. After a fierce duel, Chelsea finally defeated their opponents with a score of 2-1. Coach Enzo Maresca said that this victory meant a lot to the team.  

Gabriel Pereira reduced the deficit for Copenhagen with 10 minutes left, but Chelsea went on to win the game and secure their first away win since December 12.  

After the game, Enzo Maresca said: "This game is very important for us because it is an away game, a knockout game. Their performance surprised us because in the past three years, under the leadership of this coach, they have only played two five-a-side games."

"However, the most important thing right now is the game against Leicester City. This game is at home and we need to try our best to win the game. If we can win against Leicester City, then we will be closer to entering the Champions League."  

Finally, Enzo Maresca also revealed the fitness of Maro Gusto, who was substituted against Copenhagen. He said: "Maro Gusto is fine, he is much better. They just told me that Maro Gusto may be involved in the game against Leicester City, so hopefully he can play."
