Arsenal boss Arteta frustrated at not winning game

In the 28th round of the 2024-25 Premier League, Arsenal drew 1-1 with Manchester United, and coach Mikel Arteta was disappointed with the result of the game.

"We actually had two or three good chances to score and we didn't leave any space for the opponent. But we didn't handle the second point well with just one long pass and then committed a foul, which gave the opponent a set-piece."

"And then they took advantage of it and scored. From that moment on, the game was different. United gained momentum, confidence and energy from it."

"We equalised in the second half and created some threats. But at the same time, we did a lot of simple things poorly and gave them three chances to end the game, which they luckily didn't take."

Arsenal currently has 55 points in the Premier League, ranking second, 15 points behind Liverpool, which is in first place. Arsenal's next Premier League match will be on March 16, at home against Chelsea. However, before that, Arsenal will have a Champions League round of 16 second leg against PSV Eindhoven.
