Follow the team: The Suns do not rule out trading Booker, and are expected to exchange for 4 first-round picks and 1 rising star

According to an exclusive report by Arizona Republic reporter Duane Rankin, the Phoenix Suns do not rule out the possibility of trading Devin Booker during the offseason.

The Suns are in a slump this season, currently ranking 11th in the Western Conference with a record of 30 wins and 35 losses. As one of the teams with the highest salary and luxury tax expenditures in the league, they are bound to reorganize their lineup during the offseason.

Various signs indicate that most of the Suns' players are available for trade, including 36-year-old Kevin Durant and 31-year-old Bradley Beal. According to ESPN reporters Brian Windhorst and Shams Charania, Durant and the Suns have reached a consensus on the trade, and it is expected that four to six teams will express strong interest in Durant. Rankin further added yesterday that the Suns hope to obtain three first-round picks and a young player through the trade of Durant.

Another team reporter, Gerald Burgett, previously revealed that the Suns have no intention of trading Devin Booker and plan to rebuild the lineup around him: "Multiple sources told me that unless the Suns go further in the playoffs, they will be open to all possibilities this summer. But there is one exception - Devin Booker will never be traded." He also pointed out that the only situation that could lead to a deal is if Booker himself applies.

However, Duane Rankin now has another point of view. He made it clear that the Suns have not ruled out the possibility of trading Booker, and pointed out that his trading value is expected to be four first-round picks and a rising star in the third or fourth year of his career.

Booker, 28, has played for the Suns for ten seasons and this season is the first season of his four-year, $220 million contract. Since October last year, he has played 59 times for the Suns, averaging 26 points, 4.1 rebounds and 6.8 assists per game.
