A player who is unfortunately injured and ruled out for the rest of the season, can also still be used to maliciously hype-up that his "UEFA Champions League final player registration spot has been taken by a substitute" for no reason. This fact once again proves that there is really not a week that I can't go without being pissed off by our website's notoriously infamous female rumour monger! Yes, the person I'm talking about is still of course our notoriously infamous "Ms. Plan To"!
In the past few days, due to rest and the news that various national teams have announced their latest squad lists, I didn't pay special attention to what news this website has posted in the past few days, and I also made myself not to repeat some of the news that have already been posted.
Originally, I thought it was relatively okay... Until yesterday afternoon, this website had another article that was obviously written for the sole purpose of to hype-up and clickbait, titled: "It is revealed that Ter Stegen may miss the Champions League final, and his place is occupied by Szczęsny"...
When I found this article, I was furious again, because Marc-André ter Stegen was unfortunately injured and being ruled out for the rest of the season, which was already a very unfortunate bad news. Why must Wojciech Szczęsny "had occupied his registration spot in the Champions League final, and the former may not play in the game" need to be deliberately brought up in order to just hype-up and clickbait again?!
The point is, the Champions League has only entered the quarter-finals stage, and there are still 2 months before the final. Do you need to write this article and alleged that as if Barcelona "has already secured a place in the Champions League final"?!
In fact, Barcelona had planned to cancel Marc Ter Stegen's registration spot in this season's Champions League when he was unfortunately injured and being ruled out for the rest of the season in September 2024. However, the registration period at that time had already closed, thus the Blaugrana ultimately did not make any temporary changes for the time being.
Until the winter transfer window opened in January, UEFA had the practice of allowing clubs to make changes to their registration spots for players in the knockout stage of the Champions League again, so Barcelona officially transferred Ter Stegen's spot to Wojciech Szczęsny at that time.
This was something that UEFA had already confirmed and announced in early February 2025. "Ms. Plan To" did not make a fuss about it at all, and deliberately wrote an article to hype-up that "Ter Stegen may miss the game because his registration spot has been transferred to Szczęsny"!
Furthermore, before this, I believe that many media outlets have already written articles speculating that this season's Champions League final will definitely be contested by Liverpool and Bayern Munich, but the facts have proved that Paris Saint-Germain can beat Liverpool in a penalty shootout, and the Reds can "really absolutely possible" lose to Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup...
What's worse, Portsmouth surprisingly defeated Manchester United to win the FA Cup in 2008, which has repeatedly proved that there is always uncertainty in football. Why did "Ms. Plan To" need to deliberately allege in advance that one of the place in this season's Champions League final has definitely been secured by the La Liga giants just to hype-up Ter Stegen and Szczęsny in her article?!
In addition, I have also noticed that after I have reposted the news that UEFA had given their official explanation on why Atletico Madrid striker Julián Alvarez's penalty was ruled out, "Ms. Plan To" deliberately forwarded an article titled "Diego Simeone is dissatisfied with a controversial penalty ruling". She had only repeated the same thing which I had already written in her artcile and add-on Simeone's point of view.
It is worth mentioning that, contrary to the facts described by "Ms. Plan To" in the article, Simeone did not say "he was dissatisfied with the controversial penalty ruling" a few days later. Instead, he expressed his dissatisfaction at the post-match press conference after the Champions League match against Real Madrid that night.
The words Simeone expressed dissatisfaction in the article were also said at the post-match press conference, not at Atletico Madrid's pre-match press conference in their La Liga match a few days later!
In fact, when I reposted news of UEFA's official explanation of this controversial penalty ruling, I already mentioned that the authorities had received a complaint from Atletico Madrid and launched an investigation, this has already well hinted that Simeone was very dissatisfied with the ruling!
There really isn'y any necessity for "Ms. Plan To" to deliberately write an article regarding Simeone's position in order to bring up the same thing again. Moreover, she did not explain clearly in her article what kind of controversy after Julián Alvarez's penalty was cancelled has caused and explained it well like I did...
The implication is that this is the best proof that she deliberately wrote such an article that had no need to be mentioned again just in order to hype-up and clickbait with the report that I had already reposted!
