Erling Haaland is not afraid of Manchester City's punishment and is confident about the team's future

Norwegian international Erling Haaland, who plays for Manchester City, said he is not worried about the penalties City may face for 115 Premier League financial irregularities and has full confidence in the team.

Manchester City is currently facing the risk of a huge fine or serious points deduction, but Haaland renewed his contract with Manchester City for 9 and a half years in January this year, which is one of the longest contracts in the history of top clubs. The allegations against Manchester City will be decided at the end of March this year.

At a press conference before Norway's World Cup qualifiers, Haaland was asked if he was worried about his future at Manchester City. Haaland responded: "If I was worried about these, I would not sign a 9-and-a-half-year contract. I have said it many times, I communicated with the club, felt good, and finally decided to sign."

Manchester City's performance this season is not as good as the previous two years, but Haaland is still one of the few bright spots for Manchester City. Manchester City has 48 points in the Premier League, ranking fifth, 22 points behind first-placed Liverpool, and has missed the championship battle.
