Rob Edwards believes the team needs to maintain its current performance, and points will follow.

Despite Wolves' defeat to Aston Villa, Rob Edwards stated that the players' efforts in training are beginning to pay off. He believes the team's overall performance at Villa Park was significantly better than their match against Crystal Palace last week, although he also acknowledged that there are still areas the team needs to improve.  

Rob Edwards stated that the difference between scoring three points and scoring zero is often minuscule. If the players can maintain their current momentum and replicate their performance against their West Midlands opponents, the outcome of the game will gradually tilt in Wolves' favor.  

The manager said: "This was a very exciting match. Aston Villa have always been strong at Villa Park, and this was undoubtedly one of the toughest challenges in the Premier League. For a considerable period of the day, I think we also put on a very good performance."
