FISSURE Universe: Episode 4 Playoff Team Roster Announced

The group stage of the "Dota 2" event FISSURE Universe: Episode 4 has come to an end and entered the playoff stage. The 8 qualifying teams have been released.

With a total prize pool of $500,000, this event brings together some of the best teams in the Dota 2 world, as well as some dark horse teams challenging for the championship trophy. Although most of the teams that advance to the playoffs are expected, there are also some surprising names.

Among the eight teams that made it to the FISSURE Universe: Episode 4 playoffs, Eastern European powerhouse Team Spirit and Western European powerhouse Tundra Esports led the way, followed by Team Liquid, Team Tidebound, PARIVISION, Gaimin Gladiators, Team Falcons and BetBoom Team.

8 teams successfully advanced, which means 8 teams were eliminated. After fierce competition, the eliminated teams are BOOM Esports, Aurora Gaming, 1win Team, Night Pulse, Talon Esports, Wildcard Gaming, One Move and M80.

The group stage adopts a modified version of the Swiss round system. Each team only needs to play three series of games. If they win all of them, they can be the first to secure a place in the next round. Team Spirit and Tundra Esports are both leading the competition with undefeated records.

As the champion team of The International, Team Spirit defeated three groups of opponents 2-0 without losing any rounds, showing strong dominance. In contrast, Tundra Esports's road to promotion was a bit bumpy. Although Tundra Esports also won three games, they lost a round in each game before successfully turning the tables.

Now that the playoff teams have been confirmed, the competition is about to begin. FISSURE Universe: Episode 4 continues the fierce playoff battle, and the quarterfinal matchups are as follows:
