Aston Villa will challenge Preston in the FA Cup quarter-finals. During the international match day, Aston Villa made full use of this break and went to Dubai for training. Unfortunately, due to some players returning to the national team, the complete training lineup was not sufficient.

Regarding the players who have just returned from the national team, Emery said: "National team match day is always important for players. When I first came to Aston Villa, there were not many players in the team selected for the national team, but as the overall and individual performance of the team improved, more and more players were called up to the national team."
