Oliver Glasner has revealed the status of the players ahead of the game against Fulham. He said that Jean-Philippe Mateta is ready to play in the game, while Will Hughes is still unknown whether he will play for the team.
Crystal Palace will be looking to reach their second FA Cup semi-final in four seasons when they take on Fulham, and they will be bolstered by the return of top scorer Jean-Philippe Mateta, who was injured in the earlier win over Millwall.
Oliver Glasner said: "Jean-Philippe Mateta has been training with us for two weeks. We have always protected him but it was important for him to do some training.
"During the international break we had an internal match where Jean-Philippe Mateta could play 60 minutes, so I'm sure he'll be ready to play."
"Jean-Philippe Mateta will be wearing a protective helmet and I joked that it would look a bit strange but he said it was comfortable. So we'll see if tomorrow when he heads the ball in, it's the right mask and the best protection."
Commenting on the squad's overall fitness following the March international break and ahead of Crystal Palace's first competitive match in three weeks, Oliver Glasner said: "All players are fit and available, though Will Hughes is still a question mark."
"Wel Hughes is a bit ill, so we will see how he is this afternoon and evening. However, the other players who have returned from the national team are in good shape and all the players here are fit. Only Chadi Riyad and Cheick Doucoure will miss the rest of the season, the rest of the players are ready to fight for the team."
