Ezri Konsa: This is a difficult match, we will do our best to win

Ezri Konsa is looking forward to an FA Cup quarter-final clash against Preston North End, which he expects will be an easy one. Aston Villa travel to Deepdale to take on a Championship side that have won three straight home games so far this season.  

The defender knows it will be a difficult match, but he is looking forward to it. "I am really looking forward to it, we know it won't be easy because there are no easy games in football," said Ezri Konsa.  

"We have to go into the game with our hearts and minds, everyone will give their all and we all want to get the job done. Preston are here to win, they have beaten other teams before and that's why they are here."  

"I believe they will think they can beat us before the game, so it will be a tough game. We have played there before, so we will try to do our best."  

Ezri Konsa has been at Aston Villa for more than five years and he is eager to help the team succeed and win the historic trophy for the first time since 1957. Ezri Konsa said: "It will be great. As a player, you want to win trophies at the club you play for."  

"I've been here for over five years now and I've always wanted to win some silverware with the team and I hope to achieve that dream this year. Regardless, it's really special to be able to lead Aston Villa to the FA Cup semi-final."
