Oliver Glasner is pleased with the team's performance and proud of the team's spirit of unity

In the game between Crystal Palace and Southampton, the two sides drew 1-1, and the team got one point after the draw. Manager Oliver Glasner was satisfied with the team's performance.

Oliver Glasner said: "I am very satisfied with the score today. Although we know we can play better, the most important thing is not to lose confidence and hold on to the last minute. This is what players should do."

"We lost some chances in every stage of the game. We were a little tired mentally and didn't play at our best. In addition, we missed the first chance and then fell behind 1-0. However, I encouraged the players that although this may not be the game they can play at their best, they must keep their confidence and keep holding on until the last second."

“What I’m most proud of is the team spirit in the team. Our players and substitutes played a big role, they gave their all and managed to equalize the game. Despite that, we still wanted to win the game and Eddie Nketiah had the chance to win it.”

"I think one thing the players, staff and fans can learn is to stay humble. We can't take three points for granted anywhere in England, every point is important and this game was a good one for me."

Oliver Glasner made a number of changes to his side in the second half of the match and it was one of the second half substitutes who equalised in injury time. Mateusz Franza rounded off a brilliant performance by scoring his first goal for Crystal Palace.

“I think to be successful as a team we need every player, so it’s good to have them out there,” Oliver Glasner said.

"Mateus Franca's hard work during his injury period has finally paid off and he has helped the team get a point. I always hope that every player can score a goal because I know that's their goal in playing. This is a great experience for Mateus Franca, which will help his career and the team."
