Chelsea won 5-0 to secure their place in the FA Cup, with manager Enzo Maresca praising his players, particularly Joao Felix and Tosun Adarabioyo, who both scored twice in the match.
In the post-match interview, Maresca said: "It was a good afternoon because we won, which is very important. In this kind of game, the key to performance is to show your rigor and professionalism, and the players proved it again."
Adarabioyo’s performance was one of the highlights of the match, and Maresca said: “The picture of this match reflects the whole process because he was the only one who had so much space to see most of the time.”
“Everyone else was playing man-to-man around the box, so he was the only one who could take the ball and try the whole option, and we’re happy for him.”
"He can do that but as a centre-back it's difficult to get there on the edge of the box. Once you get there we have to try this solution.
Tyreke George, an 18-year-old player from the academy, contributed two assists in the game and showed an impressive performance. Maresca said: "Tyreke played well."
“He’s progressing well in our team and has already played a few games for us in the UEFA Champions League. He’s young, like Josh Acheampong, and hopefully we can give them more opportunities and make them important members of the team.”
