Talon Esports announces departure of Filipino player Natsumi

Talon Esports announced on April 25 that it had officially parted ways with its core Filipino player Natsumi-. This decision marks a possible new round of restructuring for Talon Esports' Dota 2 lineup.

In mid-December 2024, Natsumi joined Talon Esports and helped the team win the first Dota 2 offline championship in team history as a substitute during the MESA Invitational 2024. However, since officially joining the team, Talon Esports has failed to continue its brilliant record.

Although the team was still a strong team in the Southeast Asian region at the beginning of 2025, its performance continued to be sluggish when facing international competitions. After achieving a top six result in FISSURE PLAYGROUND #1 at the beginning of the year, Talon Esports suffered a series of losses in the following competitions.

They finished 9th-10th in BLAST Slam II and 12th-14th in FISSURE Universe: Episode 4. In April, although Talon Esports successfully advanced to DreamLeague Season 26, they finished last in both ESL One Raleigh 2025 and PGL Wallachia Season 4, making the situation even worse.

Currently, Talon Esports' Dota 2 roster is down to four players, Mikoto, Ws`, Jhocam and KuKu. The new core players have not yet been announced, and are expected to be revealed before the start of DreamLeague Season 26 on May 19. Considering the recent poor performance, whether Talon Esports will further adjust the roster is also of great concern.

As The International 2025 is approaching, the results of the first half of this year will directly affect the direct invitation qualification. For Talon Esports, this change is not only a lineup adjustment, but also an important step to strive for a TI seat and boost morale.
