Jayden Dance extends loan deal with Liverpool to join Championship club Sunderland

Premier League club Liverpool have announced that they have renewed their contract with Jaden Dance and will loan him to Championship club Sunderland until the end of the 2024-25 season.

The 19-year-old Dans came from Liverpool's youth training camp and made his debut under Jurgen Klopp in February last year. Dans then went through Liverpool's youth training system and was promoted to the first team. He has played 9 times for Liverpool's first team and scored 3 goals.

In the FA Cup match against Southampton, Dans made his first appearance for Liverpool's first team and contributed 2 goals. In last month's game, Dans scored again for Liverpool, allowing coach Arne Sloter to see his potential.

Slotte once praised Dans' potential, saying: "Like other academy players, he always gives his all. If your mentality is like this, you can definitely achieve your maximum potential, which is what he will experience."

"It may take some time to see how much potential he has and whether he can eventually become our starter. But I am very sure that with his mentality, he will have a very successful career."

In Liverpool's Champions League away game against PSV Eindhoven, Dans made his first start and also played in the Champions League for the first time. Now in order to let Dans accumulate more experience, Liverpool loaned him to Sunderland.

Sunderland currently has 58 points in the Championship, ranking fourth, 5 points behind Leeds United, which is in first place. I hope Dans can learn in the Championship and help Sunderland win more games.
