American Counter Strike 2 (CS2) powerhouse FaZe announced on its official website on Monday that NAVI's Ukrainian ace AWP-er s1mple will join the club on-loan.
According to FaZe's official statement, s1mple will join and play with the team in the BLAST.tv Austin Major next month.
As part of this personnel change, Latvian player broky, who has performed poorly recently, will be benched.
About s1mple
The 27-year-old s1mple was born in Ukraine on October 2, 1997. He has been a professional Counter Strike e-sports player since 2013. He can play as a AWP-er or a Rifler.
In his early years, s1mple played for LAN DODGERS, Hellraisers, Flipsid3 Tactics and Liquid. He joined NAVI in August 2016.
Having won the 2021 PGL Stockholm Major, Intel Grand Slam Season 3, and won the HLTV MVP award 21 times, he is one of the most successful players in the history of Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO).
In October 2023, s1mple became a player for the NAVI Counter Strike 2 team.
In September of the following year, s1mple was loaned to the Saudi Arabian powerhouse Falcons. However, due to poor collective performance, s1mple was often eliminated early with the team during his time with the Falcons.
