Official: NIP and CS2 sniper r1nkle extend contract until 2028

The Swedish CS2 team Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP) officially announced on Tuesday that it has renewed its contract with Ukrainian player Artyom Moroz (ID: r1nkle) until 2028.

The 20-year-old r1nkle mainly plays as a sniper. He has played for the Ukrainian teams Marlian and B8 in his career. He transferred from B8 to NIP in April 2024 as a key part of the restructuring plan.

r1nkle's performance was up and down in the early days of joining NIP, but he still showed his potential many times. In YaLLa Compass 2024, he helped the team win the runner-up with an average rating of 1.20, and his performance was eye-catching.

Since NiP completed its reorganization in early 2025, r1nkle has established himself as a core player alongside sjuush. He has an average rating of 1.21 this season and a map win rate of 60.6%, helping the team continue to climb steadily in the VRS rankings.

The ongoing PGL Astana is the top event that r1nkle has participated in again after many years. He is one of the most outstanding players in this event, and with an average rating of 1.20, he leads NIP to get close to the knockout stage.
