Jose Sa says this season has been tough, but he is confident he can overcome it

Since Jose Sa joined Wolves in 2021, he has become the club's most used goalkeeper in the Premier League era, having played 121 times for the team. However, Jose Sa faces new challenges this season, and he was squeezed out of the starting 11 twice in the early stages of the season.  

Now back with the club, and with competition from Sam Johnstone, Sa spoke about how this season has been a difficult one for him. In addition, Sa also spoke about the positive atmosphere under coach Vitor Pereira.  

"The first half of the season was very difficult and our start was not what we wanted," said Jose Sa. "But I think now things are changing and we are fighting for what we deserve and what we want, which is to win games. We will give it our all and try to get the best results."

"Vitor Pereira and the previous coaches were all great and they all did a great job here and I think the same is true for Vitor Pereira. He will do a great job here and we will achieve our goals."  

Jose Sa also talked about the next game against Newcastle United. He said: "This will be a difficult game because Newcastle United is a very good team and very strong. However, we are trying to get three points and we will try our best to do it."  

"It's difficult to play there all the time, but we are improving now and I feel our performances are getting better. We have confidence and we will try our best."  

In addition, Jose Sa also talked about the arrival of Emmanuel Agbadu. He said: "Emmanuel Agbadu's performance is very good. All of us are working hard to integrate him into the team, and I think we have done it. He is very comfortable when he is with us, which is a great benefit to us."
