Zion Williamson considers Cunningham an All-NBA player

New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson recently spoke highly of fellow No. 1 overall pick Cade Cunningham and said the Detroit Pistons guard has not received the recognition he deserves for his explosive performance this season.

As the No. 1 pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, Cunningham has made a major breakthrough in his career this season, showing strong leadership skills. However, Zion believes that the young star has not received enough attention and recognition from the outside world.

"I feel like people don't give him enough respect," Zion said bluntly in the interview.

"He's an All-NBA player this year in my opinion. He's been showing it on the court. But from my perspective, whether I've watched him from a distance or the few times I've talked to him, he's a player who lets his performance do the talking."

Cunningham has shown his core player style in the Pistons this season. Although the team's record is not good, his personal growth and statistical performance are impressive. Zion's support has undoubtedly won more attention for the young point guard and made his All-Star performance a hot topic.
