Beijing JDG's King of Glory division issued an announcement on Wednesday, announcing that head coach Xie Wenxuan (ID: 15sui) has officially stepped down.
The 27-year-old 15sui has served as the head coach of Xi'an WE and Hangzhou LGD.NBW since 2020, and has been fighting in the KPL region for a long time. He has led WE to defeat the so-called "Big Three" AG Super Play Club, Wolves and Wuhan eStarPro, and also helped LGD advance to the top four of the KPL Autumn Playoffs for the first time in team history.
In March 2025, 15sui replaced Shi Hao as the head coach of JDG. However, he resigned less than two months after taking office, citing "the club and I have reached an agreement". Although JDG did not disclose the specific reason, public opinion generally speculated that it might be related to the pressure of performance.
The announcement reads: "After good consultation between the club and myself, the former head coach of Beijing JDG King of Glory Division, JDG.15sui (Xie Wenxuan), has officially resigned from the position of head coach of JDG E-sports Club King of Glory Division.
As the head coach, you accompanied us in our growth step by step. Everything we experienced is a wonderful memory. In the training room, you encouraged everyone to strive to break through themselves. You said that the efforts on the field should be proved by the results. Looking back, the words you said most were: I believe you can do it!
Thank you coach for your help to the team. We are about to part ways, but we always hold on to our dreams. I hope that in the future we can both stand on the highest playing field we agreed upon at the beginning. I look forward to our meeting again that day and the wonderful match that belongs to us! "
